Please see my E-mail of Sept. 4 wherein I described the tire failure fully. Our tire shredded as we were driving on the interstate and apparently we are lucky not to be injured physically...or worse. However, I am furious that Firestone dealers were not only still selling the tires the week before the announced recall, but when questioned assured me - when I actually questioned whether I wanted to put any more of these tires on my car ( I now have four Firestone/bridgestones!) - they assured me they were "good tires". please call me or locate that E-mail or I would be glad to fax it.( dot number: )
