At around 115000 miles, the pinion seal on my rear differential failed and was allowing oil to drip off the front of the unit. Brought it in to Mazda, they fixed it. Other seals seemed okay. This pinion seal leak was mostly a concern because I had to watch and make sure there was enough oil in the differential otherwise the bearings would burn up.
