What we really loved about the CX30 was how quiet the cabin is. 200km into driving our new car we noticed a light but annoying rattle coming from in front of the passenger’s side seat. We took everything out of the cup holders and glove box etc. to check that wasn’t what we were hearing, but the rattle remained. The only thing that stops the rattling is pushing the dash up toward the windscreen. We don’t know if it was there the whole time and we didn’t hear it due to music playing and talking, or if it just kicked in around 200kms but it looks like it’s hanging around and it’s pretty infuriating. Definitely defeats the purpose of buying a quiet car. We’re hoping they’re able to work it out at the service centre soon, if they can’t, I don’t even know what we’ll do.
