I took my car in for routine oil change, new wiper blades and wheel alignment. I was told by Firestone mechanic that I needed back brakes and the calipers are "sticking." I was told not to drive the car - it is unsafe!! when I called the dealership they informed me not under warranty"! a car -- less than 2 years old with 32,000 miles on it needs new back brakes and calipers??" I think not! taking it to the dealer on Wednesday to check it out in full. Not happy! if able to update on here, I will do so.

I was parking my Mazda CX5 in a spot at a shopping center and when I touched the brake with my right foot and went to push the button to turn off the car, it suddenly accelerated full speed, jumping the curb and smashing into a storefront. I noticed when I started the car (about a mile before the accident), it was making a vroom sound like it wasn't totally getting into gear. I don't know if it's a transmission, brake or accelerator issue - but there is definitely something wrong. I did not hit the accelerator instead of the brake. When I called Mazda they said they had no reports of this being a problem. Please advise. Thank you.
