The contact owns a 2018 Mazda CX-5. The contact stated that while driving approximately 50-55 mph the sunroof exploded without impact or warning. The sunroof shattered into several small pieces. The glass fell on the driver and she sustained injuries to her body and legs, but medical attention was not provided. The contact called the local dealer but the vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was contacted, who referred her to the dealer. The failure mileage was approximately 26,000.
