The contact owns a 2018 Mazda CX-5. The contact stated that while driving at approximately 75 MPH, the sunroof glass shattered without impact. The contact stated that the glass shards fell onto her; however, no injuries were sustained. The vehicle was not taken to an independent mechanic or the dealer. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 92,000.

The contact owns a 2018 Mazda CX-5. The contact stated that while driving approximately 50-55 mph, the sunroof exploded without impact or warning. The sunroof shattered into several small pieces. The glass fell on the driver and she sustained injuries to her body and legs, but medical attention was not provided. The contact called the local dealer but the vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was contacted, who referred her to the dealer. The failure mileage was approximately 26,000.
