The contact owns a 2007 Mazda Cx-7. the contact stated that the vehicle was parked when he attempted to unlock the doors using the key fob, but the doors would not unlock. Upon unlocking the vehicle manually, the contact noticed that the unlock buttons on the interior also would not unlock the doors. The vehicle was taken to an authorized dealer where the contact was informed that the body control module needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure, but offered no assistance. The failure mileage was 113,000.
