I am writing this in regards to a MAJOR issue that I myself and thousands of other Mazda CX7 owners are having. I will try to make my story as short as possible.. Otherwise, I could be here for days.

I purchased my 2007 Mazda cx7 in 2010 used with approx 24,000 miles on it. I decided to purchase an extended warranty on the car which cost me $2,500... But thought it was worth it since it covered everything up until 106,000 miles. Never had any major issues with the car... Until September 2013, when my engine light came on, my car made a horrible noise. I called Mazda, brought it in ASAP... Received a call 3 days later.. my turbo blew/engine damage.

My first reaction... OK, THANK GOD I purchased the warranty. Well, I was wrong. After an inspector came out to look at my car... The warranty company denied my claim to fix my car due to negligence and improper upkeep to my car. The warranty company wanted me to produce 3 years worth of oil change receipts! I told them that I could get the receipts for a few.. But I wasn't one to go to the same place for oil changes... and they totally denied repairs on my car. They said that my car has excessive sludge in the engine... and that it's my fault. I was appalled. I KNEW I took my car for oil changes every 3-5 thousand miles...

So, I decided to do a little research on my own. I browsed on the internet for an hour or so.... and was astonished to find out that there are THOUSANDS of other car owners going through the SAME EXACT nightmare that I am right now. We are ALL being blamed for sludge in our engine.. Which caused our turbo/engine to blow. We are ALL being denied by either Mazda or an extended warranty company. I appealed the warranty company, sent them all the info I had... They still denied me.

There are Service Bulletins stating that Mazda is aware of this issue.. But no recall?? I even saw that my car is a Lemon.. Contacted a lemon law consultant... They told me that they are very much aware of my issue... But, they don't deal with third party warranty companies. I want everyone to know that Mazda is ripping off customers.. Selling them a car with a default in their engine... and to avoid a recall.. They are blaming the consumer.. and not fixing our cars! I have been left with no vehicle, a $440 car payment, and for two months I rented a car for $300 a week!! I am beside myself. I am frustrated. I want Mazda to be exposed for lying and blaming customers for a problem that they refuse to take responsibility for.
