CX-7 2.3L

  • Automatic transmission
  • 11,700 miles

The A/C never fully cools car down, and a few times throughout the day it starts blowing hot air. It blow so hot at time that it is more comfortable to roll down the window even when it is 105 degrees outside! I have taken it into the Mazda dealer twice and both times they put a thermometer in the vent and tell me it is working normally, but don't know why it blows hot sometimes. I have read enough other complaints about Mazda CX-7 A/C problems that I am sure the dealer is aware that there is a legitimate problem, but they just try to make me feel stupid and tell me I am not going through the proper cool down procedures when I first get in the hot car, like I should try turning on the A/C and roll down my windows until the hot air gets out. DUH! This doesn't help 20 minutes later when the car is luke warm at best and then starts blowing hot air.
