Me and my wife bought the Mazda CX-9 brand new and we both like the vehicle. We like the design, spacing and power that this vehicle has. About 2 years we were experiencing some problems with the Display screen system shutting off at random times. My wife brought the vehicle into Mazda and they found nothing wrong with the display navigation system, so they said to do a factory reset and everything will be fine.
About two months ago the same problem occurred but worse, the screen keeps powering off and on. My wife brought the vehicle back to Mazda and they updated the system and they told my wife that if this problem is still happening then we are going to need to buy a new chip that would cost $500. We are still having the same issue after going to Mazda and they updated the system, we can't even use the navigation system or play music from our phones.
