problem #2

CX-9 Touring

  • Automatic transmission
  • 9,000 miles

The back suspension squeaked like it was an old car after less than 10k miles and less than a year.

When I took it in the dealer made a quip asking if I had driven off sidewalks with it....of course not...I don't drive roughly or over sidewalks or anything that should have caused this.

I think they just didn't put good rear shocks on this car.

So apparently previous model years had a similar issue with the suspension going bad after only 9k or 10k miles...I'm surprised they hadn't fixed it in the 2017 model. Hopefully they use better parts by 2018...what worries me is if the replacement parts under warranty will also fail in another 9 thousand miles...

There's no reason for suspension to go bad with only 9k miles
