The driver's side mirror vibrates excessively when traveling on the highway or at higher speeds (50+ mph). This has been present ever since taking delivery of the new vehicle on [XXX] and poses a safety risk as it compromises visibility to adjacent traffic. The problem was confirmed by the dealer on [XXX] and repaired according to manufacturer TSB 09-018/24. However, the problem continued to persist after the repair. The defect was reported again on [XXX] and the dealership claimed that they contacted the manufacturer where no additional fix was available. The defect was reported yet again for a third time on [XXX], at which time the dealer still claimed that there was no updated fix. The car-??s driver side mirror shakes (glass in mirror) and causing distraction while driving, which seem to be the widespread case. Other 2 CX-90 driven in dealership had the similar issues. The shaking is more prominent at highway speed and while going over bumps.

Passenger side, side view mirror will intermittently turn all the way in and down. This makes it impossible to see traffic on your side. Once it turns in, it is stuck and you need to get out of the car to physical move it so the motor will adjust it again. This can happen at anytime and has happen at least 10 times since we've purchased the car on 12/29/2023

Driver side mirror fails to function properly at speeds above 50 mph Shaking and vibration effect visibility in the mirror making highway driving dangerous
- Port Matilda , PA, USA
Driver side mirror shakes at speeds over 45 mph which makes viability in driver side mirror unsafe and distracting while driving.

- Driver's side view mirror, vibrates constantly at speeds over 55 mph - When changing lanes, or looking at blind spots on the highway objects in driver's side mirror are blurry / blurred, due to the vibrations coming through the mirror. It causes focusing issues, ensuring objects and other cars are or aren't close by. I immediately look to passenger side mirro, which has no vibration or blurred vision at all, look to rear view mirror, which is also fine. - I had Mazda technicians confirm the problem, in fact it is a problem on many others, including the CX-90 loaner I had while the Mazda dealer had my car. - Apparently, it is a "Known" issue, but Mazda does not have a fix for it. - Very concerning, a brand new vehicle doesn't have vibration absorbing material built in to the mirror to stop this from happening - If you roll down the window, and put your finger on the mirror glass, you will get a clear picture of what is behind you / beside you.
- Omaha, NE, USA
The drivers-side mirror experiencing a vibration at speeds greater than 40 miles an hour distorting the view, making it blurry, particularly at night. This problem has been inspected by the dealer and they say that there is currently no fix from Mazda. This ONLY occurs on the drivers-side and apparently is widespread on the trim for this car that has the folding mirrors. T This is a safety issue and Mazda should be required to implement a fix.
- Gig Harbor, WA, USA
The driver side side view mirror vibrates on speeds more than 60mph hampering visibility and creating safety hazard. The passenger side mirror is fine.
- Sanford , FL, USA
Component: Driver side mirror. Issue: When the vehicle is above 50 mph, the mirror vibrates and obscures driver's view, which could lead to death/serious injury. Passenger side mirror is steady. When: The issue happened since first day of vehicle ownership. But it was not reported to dealership until 3 weeks after delivery (i.e.Sep 12, 2023) Dealership Inspection: The dealership acknowledged the issue but nothing couldn't be done to remediate because manufacture doesn't have a solution.

The driver-side mirror has a lot of vibration when driving on the highway (60+ MPH). This vibration creates a distraction, and reduces visibility of cars/objects in the mirror. The issue has not been brought to attention to the dealer although seems to be a widely occurring issue amongst these cars.
- Salem, NH, USA
The driver side mirror glass vibrates and shakes inside the mirror housing at high speeds, over 50mph. The vibrating glass makes it hard to see objects behind the vehicle or judge distance on the driver side. The passenger side mirror glass is unaffected, does not vibrate, and I can clearly see objects behind the vehicle on passenger side. Additionally, the mirror housings on both sides of the vehicle seem to be tightly attached to the doors. The vibration is strictly isolated to the glass inside the mirror housing on driver side.
