This problem may be covered under warranty. Ask your Mazda dealer.
High-pitched, loud squealing noise coming from the rear brakes, especially during low-speed stopping, coming to a final standstill, or reversing. The issue is widespread across 2024–2026 CX-90 models due to the factory brake pad material formulation. Mazda acknowledged the issue via Customer Service Program (CSP 14) and Technical Service Bulletin 04-003/26, expanding warranty coverage to replace original pads with redesigned OEM brake pads.

Apparently, this noise of the brakes is a common issue with this make and model, and I was sure that it would become a recall issue. It's becoming a loud nuisance. I plan to take the car to a brake shop, at this point.
What have others done to resolve this?
