Well, here goes....

We bought a 2005 Mazda 3 new in May 2005. By Nov 2005 when we went to put the snow tires on, the tires that came on the car were unevenly worn. The same happened with the snow tires. We had the car to the dealer several times complaining of the tires making a loud humming noise, was told it was the tires, put up with the noise. Had the same problem with the winter tires, returned to the dealer, told the same thing. In May 2007, we bought 4 new tires, hoping this would be the last set we needed to buy for a while, and here it is Sept, and they are featheredged. Sounds like a wheel bearing gone, very loud. Had the car back to the dealer once again with the same problem as before, and were told the wheel bearings were fine and it was due to the featheredging. So, I asked, what caused the featheredging on new tires, only 8000km? Could need a wheel alignment, but this was done the same time the tires were put on, so this isn't the problem. Then, they tell us that the 4 wheels are bent (what could cause all 4 wheels to bent is something unusual apparently, as we don't abuse the car, and always slow for pot holes, etc). We had a look, and they have dents, but nothing that should cause the 4 tires to become featheredged. So, Mazda has NO idea what is causing this, and don't really seem too interested to find out. Anyone else have this problem with a Mazda, or any car?? We need something, anything, to be able to go back to them with for a cause, because if we don't do the research ourselves, they won't do it for us....

Thanks.....
