Whenever I turn one or both of the heated seats on, they stay on for about five minutes before turning off and are unable to turn back on until the car is turned off then back on again. I took it to the dealership and was told they don't have a fix, however "Japan is aware of the issue" on all their Mexican manufactured Mazda 3's.

Mazda customer service informed me that the issue will not happen if you turn them and keep them on level one or two - it only happens when you have them on level three.
