I've had this ABS/Traction controls issue intermittently for a while. I can feel a stability issue while driving that consists of a constant vibration and jittering over bumps that's been mistaken for warped rotors several times. I'm pretty sure the rotor warping was a symptom and not the problem. The ABS, traction, and brake lights would come on but then go off after I'd restart the car, so no codes were caught. It wasn't until the end of July that they came on and stayed on so that codes registered. Mechanic said the ABS and Traction control modules needed to be replaced so I did it, cost was insane, about $1,115, but it was a safety issue so had to be done. Well, even after replacing the traction control the light wouldn't go off. They said it was a programming issue and needed to go to the dealership but they can't figure out why it's not programming, so my issue is still on going. The fact that this system has multiple complaints about it means it should be a recall, especially since stability and brakes are involved. I won't be getting a Mazda again.
