MAZDA3 Preferred Plus Turbo

The paint layer is incredibly thin, and it scratches horribly! Even cleaning a little sparrow-birdie poop with a dry Kleenex super-soft tissue scratched the paint!! What the heck is going on? I also have a 2013 Mazda CX-9 and a 2006 Mazda6, and both have fantastic, scratch-resistant paint jobs. Does anyone else have this issue?
