While driving down the highway my driver side sliding door flew open with my 5 and 3 year old in the car. When I pulled over and tried to close it I could see that the latch was frozen open. I could not get it to latch again until the temperature had been warmer for half the day. It has been colder that 25 degrees for the last 3 days.

I was driving the vehicle, made a U turn and suddenly all lights on the dashboard went off and the vehicle started to turn on and off with no key in the ignition and caught fire. I had parked the vehicle on the side road on a city street.

Update - tire wear/suspension. I contacted Mazda usa via E-mail on 5/31/13. I received a response concerning this matter and was given a canned response but it was basically "sorry for your luck" you will need to take to a Mazda dealer to see what steps "you" can take to ensure a better life for your vehicle and to try to avoid such costly repairs. There was no offer to assist. I called the rep and was basically told the same thing. I asked how many reports of the alignment/tire wear issues were reported to them and was told they would not provide that information. I've re-checked NHTSA's web page and noted these issues from 2006 to 2011 models are heavily documented. Pages and pages of the same problem exists. With the uneven tire wear of Mazda 5 vehicles happening to the inner wall of the tires, a regular driver can not see, the outside of the tire appears to have plenty of tread, while the inside of the tire is practically bald. This causes potential blow outs, and driving hazards - both my blow outs - inner wall wear! please help asap!
