I was looking in nadaguides if found a report of a problem with damping noise in front suspension and I found a recall campaign 05V412000, and I will like to know if this car was ispected because I bought the car three months ago in a dealer in puerto rico. Other information I will like to know is if the Mazda 5 presents problems with the front suspension, shocks absorber or other parts related. My anticipated thanks for your help.

The contact owns a 2006 Mazda5. The contact stated that the check engine light illuminated and stayed on. The contact replaced the idle control module and speed sensor but the failure continued. The contact stated that when the vehicle was idling, it would shake and then stall. A mechanic stated that the intake manifold vacuum valve was the cause of the failure. The contact was informed by the manufacturer that the vehicle was not included in recall 05V412000 (engine and engine cooling: Exhaust system). The failure mileage was 51,000 and the current mileage was 54,000.

Purchased a new Mazda5 car from browning Mazda in cerritos, California. Shortly thereafter, we received a voluntary recall notice from Mazda, requesting that we bring our car back to the dealership and park it "for up to 30 days" while Mazda figured out how to take care of this problem. Cars were catching on fire when driven at 60 mph in 2nd gear for extended periods of time, with the problem being with the rear muffler overheating and catching fire. We took our car in, and got a free loaner from enterprise rental cars. But as no more info was received from the dealer regarding how much longer we would be without our car, after a month and some weeks we retrieved our car and drove it home. This was two weeks ago, and we have yet to receive notification from Mazda, as we were promised, to bring it in for the recall kit to be installed. I called the dealership service dept, they said some cars had been fixed, and that he would call me if the specific kit for my car came in, so that I could bring it in again. It still has not happened.
