MAZDA5

  • Automatic transmission
  • 20,000 miles

At low speeds (5-20mph) and high speeds (60+) braking is fine, anywhere in between in a nightmare. I literally have to hold both hands on the steering wheel in attempt to limit how badly it vibrates/shakes. Any time I have a new passenger and it happens I always have to hang my head in shame. I saw someone else post about this on here and had to let them know they aren't alone, and to let others know that this is a real issue.

at 22k miles car started vibrating very badly when braking, the front rotors were warped causing the vibration, I was told by the dealer that replacing them was normal maintenance and not covered under warranty. Also am now installing the 4th set of tires at 70k. Was told by mazda corporate that it is normal to replace all tires at 20k. due to the way the car is aligned, the inside of the tires wear out.
