A potentially harmful characteristic of the power window function. I noticed that if momentary contact of the window close switches were made (of a long enough duration) the windows would close automatically. If the operator were to discover that the wrong window was being closed.....simply letting up on the switch would not stop the power window function. The window would continue to raise, even if someone's arm or extremity was in the window. If a person were to make such an error of selecting the wrong window with normal power windows.....simply letting up on the switches stops the operation. This was not the case with the 2006 Mazda 6 that I leased. I did not test the force that the window was capable of exerting before stopping on its own. I imagine on a small child that it would not take much force to be harmful or fatal.
