The contact owns a 2007 Mazda, Mazda6. While driving approximately 15 mph and approaching a stop sign, the contact applied the brake pedal and the vehicle continued to accelerate. The brakes were engaged repeatedly before the vehicle came to a stop. The vehicle was able to resume with caution at a low speed. A similar failure occurred at a different time. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The failure mileage was approximately 43,000.
