MAZDA6 V6

  • Automatic transmission
  • 225,000 miles

This will be round TWO for me. I had a 2003 Mazda and it was almost paid off and I took it back to the dealership in 2008 because of the transmission. Not knowing much about cars, the dealership advised me to go ahead and get a NEW DAMN car and being young mind and wanting something fresh and clean I let them talk me into getting a $29,000 car (2008) year. Now it's been 7 years and the same problem is happening to my 2008. I took the car back to the dealership this past week and they advised that I get a NEW DAMN car or get this one fixed for $4175 in McKinney Texas. I refuse to pay this amount. If I knew this same problem was going to occur in round 2 I promise you I would have getting a BMW.

The other problem I've noticed is the headlining of interior of the car is coming off. I often look inside of other Mazda 6 cars driving by and I can see the lining hanging down. I'm like really! These cars SUCK!!! I will NEVER EVER recommend this car to anybody EVER!

BECAUSE FIRST THE TIRE LIGHT KEEPS COMING ON AND NOW I HAD TO REPLACE A TRANSMISSION. MAZDA6

  • Automatic transmission
  • 75,000 miles

I cannot believe my 2008 Mazda 6 needed a new transmission at 75000 - Mazda basically said "tuff luck" when they were approached about possibly covering it... they wouldn't cover it at all or explain why that would happen.

It cost me over $3000 to have the transmission replaced - I am hoping others who have the same problem will report it to Mazda and maybe they will end up doing a recall.

I WILL NEVER, EVER, EVER BUY ANOTHER MAZDA AND I WILL NEVER RECOMMEND THE PURCHSE OF ONE TO OTHERS!
