MAZDA6 I Touring 2.5L 4 cyl

  • Automatic transmission
  • 95,000 miles

Car randomly stopped turning on. At first I just had to hit the button a few times. Later on I had to take the battery out of my keyless remote and re-insert it. Eventually that stopped working and I had to let it sit overnight before it would turn on again, and eventually it just stopped turning on all together.

I went to two different auto shops during this time. One replaced my starter and one replaced my remote battery (for $20, mind you) but issue always kept coming back. Eventually, I had to get it towed to a dealership and they replaced my entire shifter, which seems to have fixed it finally.
