The contact owns a 2014 Mazda 6. the contact stated that the push to start/stop button failed to turn off the vehicle when depressed. The vehicle was not taken to a dealer. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic and it was diagnosed that the switch unit failed and needed replacement. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The VIN was not available. The approximate failure mileage was 70,000.
