Intermittent electrical problem not related to parking switch. No start, not jump-able. Eventually jumps then everything thing is fine for months, go into store come out dead, 20 minutes on jumpers before it will restart, then fine again for weeks or months. Then weeks or days, now days only. New battery did not change anything.

Intermittent problem of the car not charging the battery, and replacing the battery does not fix it. Every few months to a year, I will be driving around town and and go into a store for 10 minutes and suddenly the car will not restart. Sometimes it will jump and be fine again for another year, sometimes it will not jump. Sometimes the gauge needles are bouncing around on their own. Sometime if it will not jump, I leave it on the jumpers hooked up for 20 minutes and then it will jump and be fine for another year or so. It's as if the car stops charging the battery once in a great while for no apparent reason.
