While driving and if you come to a complete stop and then try to accelerate the car, the car will hesitate briefly and and jolt forward and will accelerate until about 30-40 and the the car will just rev until you brake and accerlate really slowly.

The only way to stop/ prevent the car from revving is to accelerate very very very slowly and after making a turn do not accelerate just let the car continue moving and accelerate very very very slowly and do not exceed 30 miles per hour.

Getting on the highway is very difficult which usually causes the car to hesitate and rev without accelerating.

When first starting the car, if you put the car in reverse the car has never had any issues that I've noticed, but when you put the car in drive, the car hesitates, I have tried serval different ways to make sure it is not user error.

1) I have put car in drive, and took my foot off the brake, the car does not even more but after a few seconds the car will jolt forward and start to move forward as usual.

2) I have put the car in drive and applied gentle pressure to the gas, the car will rev but the car does not move, and after a few seconds the car will jolt forward.

Definite lag/hesitation when shifting from R to D- first noticed it when the car had 3K miles, now have around 7,500. When shifting the car while slightly rolling back in reverse to drive, then lightly hit the accelerator, the engine revs and did not catch the gear for a few seconds then lurches forward. Much different than other A/T cars I've driven in the past few years. I've been extra cautious over the past few months being sure to come to a complete stop, shift, wait a full second, then hit the accelerator; but will take it in soon for assessment under warranty as this does not seem normal -- especially if one needs to make a quick K-turn, etc.

I haven't had a chance to take the car in for service yet; I have been so careful while shifting that I haven't ran into the revving/not catching gear problem, but I really should get around to bringing it in soon. Although I suspect that they'll give me the same runaround they seem to give you. When I do I'll update in here.

transmission hesistates when put into d mode

It was early morning, went to drive in 2 places and had no problem. I had 2 passengers. I was parked in a parking lot. Started the car and left it on for less then a minute. Stepped on my brake pedal while I switch to Reverse Mode, i let slowly pull away my feet as the car reverse slowly while checking my surroundings. Fully stopped and THEN changed it to Drive Mode, I let off the brake and slowly pressed the gas, it didn't move for about 3 seconds but the car revved up about 3k like it was in neutral and then just launched so quickly screeching the tires, there's a car infront of us and good thing i stepped on my brake pedal quickly and it was about a feet more and I could've rear ended the car infront of us. We all got nervous and since that has never happened to any of our cars before and we almost had an accident happened due to this issue. We are scared to drive this car at the moment, but we will drive it to the dealership this August 31st and hopefully find out what really happened there. It is not normal for a car to hesitate and launch the car .
