I know this cost in excess of a $1000 to fix and that is why I did not fix it. Had to disconnect the amplifier to get it to stop. This also disabled much of the information system. What a complete joke. Mazda should be ashamed to put such junk in their cars. I have had cars 50+ years old with still working radios. Bose should also be ashamed for making such junk. At this point, I cannot see myself buying another Mazda.
