Rear hatch of vehicle has two support cylinders the first one broke off on the driver side a year ago, hitting my wife on the head. I replaced it with a new one $75. The next time as of date below the passenger side of the door broke off again without warning. I have the part. The metal fatigued and it just snapped without warning. Problem: Day before my two kids were sitting on the back of the vehicle removing there ski boots. If at that point the door let go, they would have been dead or seriously injured. That door is heavy. This is unacceptable. The part is inadequately designed. It is a dangerous hazard and should be addressed before someone looses their life!!!!!!! if my wife had not been standing the door would have hit her harder and quite possibly killed her. This is a wakeup call folks. Some one is going get killed with this vehicle.
