I own a 2004 mazd MPV van. When the transmission lever is moved to D for drive, the the air conditionin (A/C ) on/off swicth is hidden behind the lever no matter how what the driver seat settings may be. I have contacted Mazda, but they have failed to provide any remedy for this problem. I strongly believe that this is a driving hazard as I have had a few close calls trying to turn the A/C on or off while driving.
