Engine failed/seized due to low oil on 11/22/01 without any indicators from dash. Oil recently changed on 9/25/01.no indication of any problems at all! cv boots and axles needed replacement at 68,000 miles to the tune of $1300. Is it possible that engine is too powerful for vehicle or oil sensor is defective? have only had car since 5/01.

Engine failed. Oil pressure sensor failed. Loss of engine oil through sensor. No warning. Engine ended up 2 quarts low. Last oil change was at 81,000 or on March 4, 2000. Excessive oil around spark plugs. Also had to replace cv boot at around 80,000.
