Millenia P 2.5L

  • Automatic transmission
  • 95,675 miles

Within 7 months of purchasing the car, Check engine light comes on and we notice a little shake while driving, which gradually turned to heavy shakes when driving beyond 50 MPH, the mech tells me the EGR valve is bad, and quoted me a ridiculous number for a replacement, i said no thanks, i will find my own OEM part, which i did, for about $318. i thought huh...not bad i guess, until he tells me where the EGR valve is F** located, behind the F* engine, which they would have to take out. After pleading with the guy, we settled on $645 for labor, so all together Mazda's crappy exhaust system cost me almost $1000, and that's not even including the catalytic converter problems I've been having. I have another complaint on that. No wonder they stopped making the millenia, as beautiful as it looks, it was a money pit. I feel for the people who have the "S" model with the Supercharger Engine. It has major problems, which cost upward of $4000 for parts and labor to fix, so pretty much if you engine ever craps out in the "S" model, you're pretty much Fed. Shame on Mazda for such a piece of sht build
