I bought my Mazda Tribute last year and have had only one problem with the rear passenger door but overall I love my vehicle. Then on May 10 this year it wouldn't start. I took it to be repaired and they installed a new battery and next morning it wouldn't start. Took it back to the shop and they replaced the alternator. It still kept dying. Put back in the shop for electrical diagnostics and was told it was the computer. They sent the computer off to be rebuilt. They installed the rebuilt computer and called for vehicle to be picked up. Drove it home parked it next morning it would not start. Towed it back to the shop and was told it needed a new computer. Sent to New York for a new computer. After now over a month without a vehicle. The computer arrived at the O'Reilly's Auto parts and picked up and delivered to repair shop. Three days more waiting for repair. Picked up on May 24 drove home and parked. Drove to church Sunday and back no problem. Monday drove to the Post office it was hot so I used the air-conditioner that's all no radio nothing: just several blocks from home and it died in parking lot. Had to jump battery to get home. Still unable to drive my vehicle after over a month and half and many trips back and forth for repairs. Paid over $1,000 for repairs and still not fixed!!!!! It's a pain in the ass. After much consultation with the shop owner and O'Reillys about this problem no one seems to know what the problem is. Funny how it happened after using the air-conditioner. Myself thinking it's the air-conditioner wiring connection or the starter???? But why haven't these specialists found the problem. I'm tired of the back and forth paying for what they tell me is the cause of the problem but the problem still exists and I'm still without a vehicle. This is nerve wracking and exhausting.
