MB needs to take responsibility for this defect with the car. The dealer explained to me that the left parking lamp was out and that the problem is a lot more serious than replacing a bulb, he said the bulb panel had melted and though my car was still under warranty, the melted panel was not covered. In Mar17, I started getting the message on the dash telling me the right parking lamp is out as well.

Customers should not have to pay for manufacturers defects. We pay above and beyond already keeping up the maintenance on time with no problem, so we should not be forced to pay for non quality parts on the vehicle that melt because they used cheap products on a $40K vehicle.
