Takata frontal airbag and another defective part that I had received an alert about over a year ago, but till today's date has not been remedied. As part is not available.

Takata recall. I received a notice from mbusa 6-8 months ago, and have gotten no response from my local dealer who only knows that this recall, to his knowledge, is on hold, and no parts are available. How can that be possible" if a car is in a crash and the airbag inflator deploys, does it not need to be replaced in order to complete the repairs to the vehicle" I am concerned, and have no faith in the corporate lobbyists and fat cats that cut corners for profits. I just want my car fixed, because I am handicapped, and have an extremely bad back, and worry that incorrect deployment of the airbag would further damage my spine, and cause me to go to a wheelchair from my cane, or worsen the numbness and my inability to get around. This should be your concern as well, because I have contacted an attorney who is willing to take my case for a percentage of the settlement, if we decide to settle, or accept the court mandated fee he would be entitled to. My entire lumbar and sacral spine are compromised bye degenerative disc disease, scoliosis, multiple spinal senoses and more

My 2010 Mercedes C300 has a faulty electronic steering lock fail-which left me stranded sitting in the park lot about 30 minutes from home. Car would not start I tried to start my car and nothing happens. When I turn the key to on nothing lights up, no crank, no clicks, no windows and no radio. I would lock and unlock with the remote but that was about it. I tried jumping and I tried both keys still nothing happens when I turned the key. Steering wheel was locked and gear stuck in park. Had to have it towed to the mb dealership to have the steering lock and key replaced and ending costing $1,124. I have read that this has happened to a whole of mb's and should be a recall. I mean really we pay to have a quality car and so far my mb has had a stinky ac that mb could never figure out how fix, taillight recall, found oil leaking from oil centerfuge cover that cost $199.62 but yet it still leaks oil., currently waiting for the takata airbag inflator recall from April 2016 and today is Dec. 2016. Very disappointed in Mercedes and will not be purchase again nor will I recommend to anyone. Even the service at the dealership has gone down. Quality and customer service is not what it use to be.

"takata recall" I feel that this recall should be resolved by now. This is very unsafe if I have my children in the car and god forbid there is an accident then I would be in danger due to something that was designed to make travel safer. The is unacceptable and I purchased Mercedes for safety and reliability. My family has purchased Mercedes for years due to the quality it meant to own a Mercedes and quick issue resolution. If I was going to run into a airbag issue that would take this long to be resolved I could have purchased a Hyundai.

Takata recall- my son is about to get his license on July 11th, he will be 16 on July 6th. We bought him this Mercedes back in March 2016. I am afraid for him to drive it with the death and injuries takata airbags have cause people. However, we have not received any recall notice to get it repaired/replaced. I called Mercedes with no answer for me. I am scared for his life, he is a new driver and if he hits something and the airbag deploys he could die. This is the most insane thing I have ever had to deal with. I need an answer better than I will get a recall notice for repair/replacement in the next year or two. This is urgent. This is my son's life we are talking about and I can not afford to get rid of the car now!! I feel this car should not have been sold without it being fixed first.
