problem #2

C300 Sport 2.5L

  • Automatic transmission
  • 26,000 miles

The Collison Prevention Assist. Plus Inoperative sign showed up in the cluster/dashboard this morning without any warning. it made acceleration hard and I had to press on acceleration padel harder to get the car pick up speed. When I turned off the car on the side of the road, and turned it back on, the CPAP warning was gone and the car came back normal. I read some comments online. it is indeed dangerous if the car slows down in a highway. Called my dealer and they said they were still figuring out the resolution (it is a known problem but no solution is ready yet.)

C300 Sport 2.4L V4

  • Automatic transmission

Collision prevention system inoperative. It is very dangerous, it causes the car to slow down significantly. I have taken the car in twice to Mercedes dealer. They told me the only option I have is to hire a lemon lawyer, in case they don't succeed in fixing the problem.
