the tires are splitting on their own

I just bought this Mercedes C300 not even six months ago. I have two tires that have split on the sides. The tires are $400.00 each - I refuse to replace the second one! I need to be compensated and have new tires put on my car. I can't even enjoy it as I am afraid the tires will fail while I'm driving and be killed or hurt. The tires are ContisportContact SSR 225/40 R19, made by Continental. The tires in the other sizes were recalled. I need these recalled too before someone gets hurt! The tires are put on this car by Mercedes who is supposed to offer the top of the line cars/trucks/tires - well, they failed with this one.
