This issue occurs mostly after start-up when the weather is below 40 degrees F. When approaching an intersection, or turning a corner when a full stop is not required, the engine appears to receive zero throttle input from the TPS. Then in approximately three-to-five seconds, the engine revs up and proceeds perfectly.
During one very cold winter day this situation did not disappear. Towed the car to the M-B Dealer and was informed that it required a transmission valve body replacement $4200+, as there was a transmission code stored in memory. Not an active code. Replaced the valve body and problem still exists.
