I have owned this Mercedes for 6 years. The only good thing about it right now is that it is paid for. Let's start with the first month I owned it and had to spend nearly 2000.00 replacing the front end (boots, rods, ends.. you name it) and buy all new wheels and tires. Next thing you I know I find out my engine burns synthetic oil.. yes- not kidding. Oh it gets better. Next oil change I am told that my engine mount is broken and another major fix I cannot think of right now. My mechanic is trustworthy- he knows my brothers and my father were all mechanics. Then my O2 sensor goes out. 600.00 to fix. Then my ignition sensor goes out. couple hundred more dollars. Oh, wait those new tires and wheels? I have gone through no less than 11 tires and replaced two wheels. Not enough? How about 1800.00 to replace the keys and ignition? Because again, more sensors decide to go out. Not enough yet? My window regulator breaks, the fog lights are out and I cannot for the life of me get my trunk open. Right now I am the proud owner of a 12 year old car that needs so much work in repairs it isn't even worth the cost compared to what the car is worth. My engine sounds like a vibrator on crack. I only want to get into my trunk without spending 800 more dollars to do it. This has been the best and worst car I have ever owned.
