My brakes on my 2012 E550 Mercedes coupe have had to be repaired twice in 5 years with under 17,000 miles. First it was the pads and now its the rotors which had to be replaced. When I challenged the dealer on why the rotors failed after only 17,000 miles they told me...."you drive the car too little." To which I say, BUYER BEWARE. UNLESS YOU PLAN ON DRIVING LOTS OF MILES, DON'T BUY A MERCEDES. Note that my wive's Mercedes never had a brake problem with 16,000 miles over 4 years and my Infinity G35 never had a brake problem with 30,000 miles over 9 years. As I told my dealer, I have purchased my last Mercedes.
