Fuel gauge indicates low fuel level when the tank is full and indicates full tank when there is no fuel. Fuel sending unit replaced 2 times already. The first time on 02/01/00 with only 1064 miles on the car. The second time on 01/29/02 with 19175 miles on the car. A brief search on the internet found many other owners of Mercedes-Benz cars had similar fuel sending unit problem. However, Mercedes-Benz continues to say there is no problem with the fuel sending unit in their cars.
