E320

July 1st 2017 - I have a 2003 Mercedes E320 with less than a 100,000 miles on it. My wife and I just turned off a busy freeway onto a surface street when the instrument cluster turned red with (Stop Reduced brake power). My wife was driving and she didn't know what to do because the car had no brakes and would not stop. If we didn't notice the large open parking lot (to get the car stopped) without cars I don't know what would have happened. This is a dangerous issue with this car and nothing is being done about it. I guess it will take people getting killed before it become a major issue for Mercedes and Bosch. The terrifying thing is my wife and I were thinking the same thing after getting the car under control...What if we didn't turn off the freeway and continued traveling 70 mph and this failure happened. Crazy!!!! I will not keep this car much longer!
