The contact owns a 2009 Mercedes-Benz E350. The contact was driving 1 mph and attempting to park the vehicle when the bumper became caught onto the cement barrier. The contact attempted to reverse but to no avail. She then lifted the bumper to release the vehicle from the cement barrier. She stated there was a flap that was attached to the bumper that became caught onto the cement barrier. The entire front end of the vehicle was damaged. A police report was filed. The vehicle was taken to the dealer and the dealer advised the contact to reverse the vehicle into those types of parking spaces. The failure occurred twice. The contact called the manufacturer and they advised her also to reverse the vehicle into certain types of parking barriers. The vehicle was repaired. The failure mileage was 1,000 and the current mileage was 25,000.

The contact owns a 2009 Mercedes Benz E350. The contact stated that the undercarriage shield became lodged on parking bumpers and other road objects. The shield caused the bumper to fracture from the vehicle whenever it became lodged on an object. The dealer advised the contact to drive cautiously. The vehicle was repaired. The failure mileage was approximately 1,000 and the current mileage was approximately 24,000.
