We leased Mercedes E350 year 2010 in February. Car's response was very good and we liked the car very much. On June 16 I drove the car on freeway for about 23 miles then on the road for another mile with couple of red light stops. Then I turned left into the parking lot and right turn in to the parking spot. As I was about to park I heard engine revving up, (this sound I never heard before even when I started the car) car lunged forward on the parking median with grass (incline). To avoid running into the car on the other side I turned right, I started pumping the break, there was a tree and car clipped bark of the tree, damaging front and side of the car. Car stopped crossing over to the right. Ignition key 'thing' popped. Both air bags on the driver side were deployed, car stopped with two flat tires on the driver side. Luckily there was no on-coming car in the parking lot. It is my observation that some error had occurred for engine to rev up like this. Knee air bag did lot of damage to my legs. Left leg was bruised very heavily and swelled up where knee was not even visible. This is not to complain but to document the incidence. I want to make sure it does not happen again to me or anyone else.
