The contact owns a 2015 Mercedes-Benz E350. The contact stated while driving at various speeds, the vehicle made abnormally loud cracking sounds. The contact stated that the failure mostly occurred while turning, driving over a bump in the roadway, and while driving on a steep roadway. An independent mechanic inspected the vehicle and determined that the abnormal sound was coming from the sunroof. The vehicle was not repaired. The contact related the failure to an unknown recall. The dealer and the manufacturer were not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 112,000.

The contact owns a 2015 Mercedes-Benz E350. The contact stated that while driving over a bump in the roadway, a popping sound was heard coming from the panoramic roof. The vehicle was taken to napleton autowerks of Indiana located at 1349 indianapolis blvd, schererville, in 46375, where the wheels were balanced and the brakes checked however, the failure recurred and became worse. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was approximately 63,000.
