The front panel panoramic sunroof exploded off 2021 GLB 250, while driving Saturday, Sept. 3, 2022.

The manufacturer nor my paid extended warranty would replace or repair this issue. Mercedes-Benz stated it's because the GLB 250 is not on the recall list. My personal vehicle insurance had to be used to repair and replace the manufacture defected sunroof. There are lawsuits in place against Mercedes Benz panoramic sunroof explosions while driving. The lawsuits referenced the bonding between the glass panel and the sliding roof frame deteriorates, resulting in the glass panel detaching from the vehicle, becoming a road hazard. Thank be to God that no other vehicles were on the road I was traveling on. The explosion startled the heck out of my mom, husband and me the driver.
