The NHTSA is the US gov't agency tasked with vehicle safety. Complaints can be spread across multiple & redundant categories, & are not organized by problem. See the Back button — blue bar at the very top of the page — to explore more.
As I was Driving on and heard loud popping sound above me, when pulled over and investigate saw that the glass between the windshield and Panasonic roof had spontaneously cracked all the way across ( they were no othervehicles within the distance for it to an outside object hitting it). Plus I saw nor heard anything coming in contact with the vehicle

The vehicles sunroof is starting to separate from the vehicle were it closes. Glass is sticking up and the front of the car where the glass starts is cracking all the way across. The safety is that the glass can implode and cause damage to me (driver) or passenger, piece could fly off into traffic and cause an accident and it is unsafe to drive without a roof because of the elements. I have made an appointment with a dealership and reported it to Mercedes. There was no warnings prior to when it appeared other than a crackling sound when I closed my sunroof then days later it appeared.
