The contact's wife owns a 2022 Mercedes-Benz GLE350. The contact stated while driving 20 MPH, the sunroof shattered without impact. The contact immediately pulled over and inspected the vehicle. Despite the failure, the contact drove the vehicle back to his home. Both the dealer and the manufacturer were notified of the failure, and both stated that a rock must have struck the sunroof causing the failure. No further assistance was provided. The vehicle had been repaired. The failure mileage was 12,243.
