The contact owns a 2010 Mercedes-Benz GLK350. The contact stated while driving approximately 40 MPH, the vehicle was shaking and making abnormal sounds coming from the engine. There were no warning lights illuminated. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic and diagnosed with sub frame corrosion. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 80,000.
