2012 Mercedes Benz sw ; VIN#:[xxx] recalled about 2 years ago for takata air bag kit replacement. Called the dealer (contemporary motorcar - erie, pa.) several times and the answer I got was, the kit is not available. Called today and talked with [xxx]. he informed me that their is nothing they can do because it is not an official recall. He further stated that no Mercedes has ever had a problem with the air bags. What are my options? no incident yet. Information redacted pursuant to the Freedom Of Information Act (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6).
