Manufacturer is stating repair to a potentially deadly airbag will take till June 2019 to repair which far exceeds a reasonable amount of time. This car is driven everyday and Mercedes Benz should have an interim fix to prevent injuries, even death to passengers in this vehicle. I feel as though I'm driving this car with a loaded gun to my head.

April 2013 I purchased a 2013 glk 350 Mercedes Benz. February 2016 ntsha issued a recall for my VIN number. Mercedes Benz the manufacturer nor rbm mercedesdealership of alpharetta, Georgia never notidfied me. I was totally unaware. January 8, 2018 I saw a Mercedes airbag recall. I next day I spoke to rbm Mercedes Mr. Smith and he said he did not know. The same day, January 9, 2018 Mr. Denton, maintenance texted me to tell me that he checked with my VIN number and my car did not have an open airbag recall. This was not true. March 9, 2018 Mercedes manufacturer sent me a "recall letter" for the first time. I googled ntsha website and keyed in my VIN and a recall was issued in 2016 and again March 2018. I contacted the rbm Mercedes dealership Mr. Smith, Mr. Beecham, Mr. Leavy, Mr. Haywood, and (Mr. Denton;non-responsive) I requested a free loaner and I don't feel safe riding in my car. This is my only car. My request for a loaner was denied and was told by Mr. Beecham that only the manufacturer can give me a loaner. Mr. Smith said borrow someone's car. Mr. Haywood said that he emphathize with me but the is still safe. It might be 2019 before my car get fixed. I am riding in an unsafe vehicle waiting for something to happen to me and my family. Mercedes need to provide a free loaner.

On may-June 2016 the vehicle was showing a warning light related to a malfunction of the driver's seat belt, the dealership found through a vehicle inspection that it was related to the steering module. One was ordered. The airbags were disable for a month, placing at risk my wife's life. The problem seems to be fixed but the airbags now could be disable or will malfunction in the future. Since this type of vehicle has takata airbags, I would like to request the replacements of all airbags, instead of a trial/waiting if this will malfunction in the near future, with a risk of a preventable death of me of my wife, as we both are driving this vehicle. I appreciate placing human lifes instead of monetary gain.
